1) Have some really important work to do that is meaningful and will help you along with your life. Like say for example, research for your dissertation.
2) Ignore 1).
3) Spend the days watching American crime dramas on DVD and surfing the internet. In particular, surf the 'net for news about the next series of your favourite Amercian crime dramas.
4) Spend far too much time at the CSI/X-Files/Without A Trace/Alias message boards.
5) Work extra hours at your part time job.
6) Feel guilty about doing 2), 3), 4) and 5) instead of 1).
7) Go to bed promising yourself you'll do more of 1) tomorrow.
