http://iamsparticus.co.uk provides a good point about University and what gets on my nerves about many academic essays in his latest post. Far too often in essays at University you're arguing other people's opinions and generally not allowed to have one of your own. I am an opinionated person, I like to write "I think that....." in assignments and I can't.
And it's really annoying.
